Prime Dental Care was established in early 2005 at the Market Square in the Varsity Central business precinct. We relocated to the current more convenient address at the end of 2009.

We focus on quality general and cosmetic dental treatments.

The philosophy of Prime Dental Care is to create a patient centred and service oriented dental practice, utilizing up-to-date technology to provide the highest level of care and comfort, reflecting our passion for providing a friendly atmosphere and quality dentistry.

Dr. Jim Zhou, Prime Dental Care's principal dentist, was originally qualified with a dental degree from the Capital Medical University, Beijing, China. After some years of private practice in Beijing, Jim came to Australia and earned his Master of Dental Science (MDSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of dentistry from the University of Queensland Dental School. 

He then completed the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Before he set up his own dental practice - Prime Dental Care - Jim had been practising in northern NSW and on the Gold Coast. Jim enjoys keeping up with the latest technology to improve patients' satisfaction, and regularly attends continuing education throughout Australia.

After completing comprehensive examinations, we aim to work out treatment options that are affordable and we tailor treatment to fit in with our patients’ schedules and budgets. Our caring staffs are more than happy to answer all questions regarding treatment options and costs, so that you can make a fully informed decision regarding the treatment options we offer.
